The Cardinals have won, somehow in some unbelievable way. Basically the Tigers did help them out a lot and the Cards were pretty lucky. 5 games with at least one unearned run will kill your chances in the World Series. So you could blame Verlander's horrible throw last night that lost the game. I guess the Cardinals are going to want some sort of respect now. They probably deserve it. It's good for the National League at least that we won the World Series. So when the American League people say our League is crap we can just ask them who won the World Series.
Every team in the National League that won more games is really kicking themselves right now. The Phillies are one of those teams that had more wins than the Cardinals.
