5 Straight for the Phils

Not much to say about this game besides the fact that it was awesome for the Phillies. 9 runs scored and only 3 given up. A good start from Jon Lieber who wished he could have pitched more than 6 innings. A fine 8th inning from Brett Myers. Chase Utley went 5-5. Ryan Howard hit a home run - thats always good to hear. Jimmy Rollins hit another home run and is leading the National League in that category. Poor John Patterson who is now 0-4 on the season. He's a good pitcher, but he's not ready to be the ace of any staff. He'd be much better with less pressure. Hopefully the pressure will subside for him once the Nationals are seemingly out of contention.
All in all a good win for the Phils and I can't wait until I'm back home to finally catch a game.

Here's to hoping the Phils force tomorrow's title to be "6 Straight for the Phils".
