The Phillies acquired RHP Francisco Rosario to help out in the bullpen. Rosario is a hard throwing 26 year old reliever playing in his second major league season. The Phillies news release quotes Gillick as saying "If he can be consistent, he has a chance to be pretty good." Who knows what that means, but hopefully the Phillies bullpen gets better because it can only get better after these first 3 games. He is from the Dominican Republican. Not much else that I know about him.

I like the part about "if he's consistent, he has a chance to be real good". Ryan Madson is consistent...consistently shitty in that he serves up meat pitches that are torched.
